Services

At Oh Happy Day, we offer routine weekly or bi-weekly standard cleans, as well as one-time only and move-in/out cleans. We charge an hourly rate for our services.

We will work with you to customize your cleans to align with your priorities and budget.

For example, if you can’t afford a whole-house clean each visit, we can rotate cleaning different floors/rooms, or just clean certain rooms every time.

One-Time Only & First-Time Cleans

First-time and one-time-only cleans are charged hourly and typically take longer than maintenance cleans. First, we will go over our standard cleaning checklist (see below) and determine if there are any services that you would like to add or remove.

From there, we will ask for you to give us your top to bottom list of priorities that you would like for us to work through in the timeframe that we have scheduled.

A deposit may be required in advance for one-time only and first-time cleans.

Routine (Maintenance) Cleans:

Maintenance cleans are scheduled to be either weekly or bi-weekly, directly after your initial clean.

After your initial clean, we will work with you to establish a maintenance cleaning schedule that aligns with your priorities and budget.

Move-In or Move-Out Cleans

These cleans require that the house is completely empty and that water and electricity are turned on.

Move-ins & move-outs are charged hourly. A deposit may be required in advance.

Move-in and move-out cleans include our standard clean (see checklist below) in addition to our deeper cleaning services to make the space move-in ready. We will review these checklists with you so that you understand what serivces are and are not inlcuded. For example, we do not remove miscellaneous items left behind or steam clean carpets.

Kitchens - Standard Cleans

Always Included:

Dust within reach of an extendable duster: cobwebs, baseboards, light fixtures, fans, sills, furniture, uncluttered surfaces & open shelves, feather dust knick knacks & pictures, feather dust blinds (we do not deep clean blinds)
Clean counters & backsplash
Clean sink
Clean stovetop, exterior of oven, & degrease overhead vent surfaces
Clean microwave, inside & out
Clean fronts of cabinets & hardware
Clean front of refrigerator
Polish major stainless steel surfaces
Wipe outside of small appliances
Wipe exterior of freestanding trash cans
Spot clean high touch areas (light switches, door frames and handles)
Spot clean smudges off of interior windows/sliding doors (within reach)
Shake out small rugs
Vacuum & mop floors
Take out trash (if bags & an outdoor garbage bin are on location)

Spot clean high touch areas (light switches, door frames and handles)

Vacuum & mop floors
Take out trash (if bags & an outdoor garbage bin are on location)

Vacuum couches & chairs
Vacuum beneath couch cushions
Spot clean walls and door frames
Clean interior cabinets/shelves
Clean interior glass of cabinets
Hand-wipe fan blades that can be reached with a 2 ft ladder

Deep clean baseboards
Fully clean mirrors in main living spaces that can be reached with a 2 ft ladder
Fully clean glass doors (inside and out)
Change linens & make beds (if clean linens are provided)
Clean rooms not usually included (sunrooms, porches, garages, etc.)

Move Out/Move In Cleans

These cleans require that the house is completely empty and that water and electricity are turned on. Please note that we do not haul away trash or left items.

Based on your needs, we include everything that is included in our standard cleans (see above).

In addition we will deep clean baseboards, fans within reach of a 2 foot ladder, insides of closets, cabinets, drawers, refrigerators, and ovens. We will also wash doors & walls to the best of our ability (surfaces need a fresh paint job if our products won’t do the trick). You may also request anything from our add-on lists for each room.

These cleans are charged hourly. A deposit may be required in advance.
